Summer Lovin’ layout<\/b><\/p>\n

Hi there Imaginisce fans, Suzanna here today! When you think of summer, what comes to mind for you? Hands down, baseball is a big part of our summer! Definitely not the biggest, but for the boys, a day or two at the ball park is a highly anticipated event! And, being the Chicago Cubs fans that they are, the reds and blues in the Heartland Farm collection are just perfect to document that event!<\/span><\/div>\n

The blue and white striped patterned paper in this collection is ideal for baseball. It reminds me of the pinstripe often found in a baseball players uniform.<\/span><\/div>\n

With all the geometrics of the pinstripe and the gingham, I wanted to break that up a little bit so punched circles from the bandana papers to coordinate with the die cuts of the collection. Layering them with foam dots created some fun movement and depth to the page.<\/span><\/div>\n

The title of the page, “Summer Lovin'” is two Silhouette cut files that I overlayed. One is slightly larger than the other and they are slightly overlapped to create a shadow effect.<\/span><\/div>\n
