\"SHOW<\/a>I think everyone enjoys getting to peek into other designer\u2019s scraprooms, right? It’s fun to see how others store and organize the same types of products and tools that so many of us have. And while\u00a0many of us have totally different ways of setting up our spaces, or have totally different types of spaces that we’re working with, you never know when you’ll see a new way of storing or organizing products that\u00a0you can incorporate into your own space.<\/p>\n

Scraproom Tour, by\u00a0Christin Gr\u00f8nnslett<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hello. Christin Gr\u00f8nnslett here today to give you a little tour of my scrap room aka scrap basement. My scrap room is in the basement and I only have three small windows, two of them underneath a bay window and one between a veranda so I have very little natural light so it was important to paint the room white. I have two big fluorescents lamps in the ceiling, but it\u2019s never enough. Although I am very lucky to have a big room, I really wish it was closer to the kitchen\/living room, but at least I have a room.<\/p>\n

This is the first thing you see when you enter the room. I have and an Expedit and Best\u00e5 shelves to divide the room. To the right is the kids TV\/gaming corner and to the left is my scrap area.<\/p>\n

I have my scrap desks underneath two of the windows in a corner. To the left the kids can sit next to me and scrap\/draw, but mostly my 6 year old daughter uses the floor to do that. I like to have most things very close and I like to see things to use them. All the black trays holds recent papers\/cardstock for my different teams.\u00a0The big white box holds lots of my stamp pads.<\/p>\n

Recently I spray painted a pegboard to hold some of my Bella Blvd products. Now I can reach the stickers easily.<\/p>\n

For once my desk is clean. Here I have all the mists that I use all the time.<\/p>\n

Another bookshelf from Ikea (not sold anymore) Bonde. Here I keep some albums and papers.\u00a0Behind I have out old Kitchen table. It used to be pretty dark, but instead of painting it I just used a white foil over the visible parts. That way I can use the desk to take a few pictures.<\/p>\n

I have three Malm drawers where I keep Thickers, sewing stuff, dies.<\/p>\n

Here I keep the enamel dots and Bella Bows that don\u2019t fit on the peg board.<\/p>\n

The big Expedit shelf is a great divider between my side and the kids side of the room.\u00a0Here I have layouts (I am soooooo behind with putting them in album), fabric, gift boxes, and different odds and ends.<\/p>\n

Underneath my white desk I have an Alex drawer, here is where I keep most my paint, embossing powders,\u00a0etc. These things I don\u2019t use that often and fits great in the drawer.<\/p>\n

This ends the tour of my scraproom. Since I hate watching TV I spend a lot of evenings in my scraproom.\u00a0Luckily the kids loves spending time down here with me. My 8 year old prefers the TV behind the shelves, but at least my 6 year olds loves keeping me company. I hope you have enjoyed my little tour.<\/p>\n
