Hello Doodlebug fans! Jennifer here and today I’m sharing a project using Doodlebug’s new Slam Dunk<\/a> collection. For this project I decided to try making a fun hanging mobile, for a basketball fan I know.<\/p>\n

For the ring of the mobile, the outer edge of a round paper mache box lid was used. The ring was covered on both sides with patterned papers from the collection.<\/p>\n

Chunky white twine<\/a> was also used on the outside of the ring to add a little texture.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

For the title of the piece, the word “shoot” was cut from patterned paper and attached to a hand cut flag, additional basketballs were mounted to chipboard and glued to the word, along with star stickers.<\/p>\n

The flag was then attached to the front of the ring.<\/p>\n

To hold the ring, die-cuts and chipboard pieces together a super strong bead weaving thread was used. Here are some close-ups of the finished mobile.<\/p>\n
