Dance recitals<\/strong><\/a> are a great way for dancers of all ages to show what they\u2019ve learned and how much they\u2019ve improved. These are so much fun to watch because you will see the improvement. You\u2019ll also get to see the hard work that has gone into it. You\u2019ll know how the countless practices have paid off in the end.<\/p>\n

Creating a scrapbook for your dancer will be a lot of fun. Depending on the style of dance and the studio, your child may be in quite a few dances, so you\u2019ll have lots of pictures to take.<\/p>\n

Start out by taking pictures the day of the recital. Take pictures while she is getting ready. This would include her hair and make up. Take pictures of each outfit while it\u2019s on the hanger and if you have the time and the ability, take pictures with each outfit on.<\/p>\n

Take pictures backstage before the recital begins. You\u2019ll catch some unique pictures during this time. Kids have their own way of dealing with nerves and excitement. Sometimes these pictures are the best and they make people shine, so snap these while you can.<\/p>\n

Once the recital has started, take pictures during each dance. The pictures don\u2019t have to be of just your child. Include others as well because everyone was a part of the show.<\/p>\n

You should receive a program when you want in, so make sure you take one of those so you can include that in your book as well. If they\u2019re multiple pages, you might want to make copies or take more then one if there are any left after the show is over.<\/p>\n

If your child has after the show parties, include pictures of those as well. These are fun because the show is over and the kids are more relaxed. You may be able to catch some very unique pictures during this time.<\/p>\n
