This 2-page layout was inspired by a sketch I saw on Allison Davis&#8217; blog: www.allisonrdavis.blogspot.com. It&#8217;s a super simple background that can be adapted to most any photo layout. Plus, it&#8217;s a fun way to use several different patterns.<\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/scrappinstuff.com\/blog\/public_html\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG_1638-copy1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3516\" title=\"IMG_1638 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/scrappinstuff.com\/blog\/public_html\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG_1638-copy1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"587\" height=\"297\" srcset=\"https:\/\/scrappinstuff.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG_1638-copy1.jpg 587w, https:\/\/scrappinstuff.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG_1638-copy1-300x152.jpg 300w, https:\/\/scrappinstuff.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/IMG_1638-copy1-200x101.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 587px) 100vw, 587px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Supplies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scrappinstuff.com\/store\/mother-father-c-194\/fancy-pants-like-father-like-son-kit-p-10213\">Fancy Pants &#8211; Like Father Like Son Kit<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scrappinstuff.com\/store\/miscellaneous-tools-c-216_229\/inkssentials-white-opaque-pen-p-10378\">Inkssentials\u2122 White Opaque Pen<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scrappinstuff.com\/store\/miscellaneous-cardstock-c-216_223\">Coordinating Cardstock<\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start with 2 sheets of cardstock for your base.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere three stacked 4&#215;6 (or slightly cropped) photos to the inside left hand side of the right page.<\/li>\n<li>Cut enough 1&#8243;x8&#8243; strips from various patterns of paper from the Fancy Pants &#8211; Like Father Like Son Kit to cross your layout. (Since I had three stacked photos on the second page of my layout, I only needed 11 strips.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere either one 5&#215;7 or 2 stacked 4&#215;6 prints to right hand edge of left hand page.<\/li>\n<li>Cut &#8220;Super Dad&#8221; strip from Fancy Pants &#8211; Like Father Like Son &#8211; Strips Paper sheet of paper. Hand cut to allow for the star shape.<\/li>\n<li>Cut &#8220;Super Dad&#8221; strip so that part of the strip is to the left of your 5&#215;7 print and the remaining section is to the right of your stack of three 4&#215;6 prints.<\/li>\n<li>Remove black tab label sticker from Fancy Pants &#8211; Like Father Like Son &#8211; Element Stickers and add to upperleft hand corner of strips on left hand page of your layout. Add date to sticker using Inkssentials\u2122 White Opaque Pen.<\/li>\n<li>For the title, cut &#8220;Happy Father&#8217;s Day&#8221; card from Fancy Pants &#8211; Like Father Like Son &#8211; Cards Paper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nHappy Scrappin&#8217;!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Father&#8217;s Day layout\u00a0by Amy Wheeler I often find quick inspiration for layouts online.
