Soccer is a sport that kids can begin playing at a very young age.\u00a0 My son was 4 when he began playing and I love these first soccer photos.\u00a0 Thankfully, the store had some wonderful papers and elements that would help showcase my son\u2019s love of the game.<\/p>\n
I found this wonderful pattern paper with the balls shooting out onto the page so I used two, flipping one so that both corners had the ball. \u00a0 On page 1, I placed 3 photos on black cardstock and cut around them so that when I placed it on the page, it did not cover the ball in the corner.\u00a0 For the second page, I cut a piece of cardstock 6 \u00bc\u201d x 9 \u00bc\u201d and used one large focal photo.\u00a0 I then cut 4 photos so that they would all fit as shown.<\/p>\n
I found this amazing soccer border<\/a> in the store and wanted to use it, but felt it would not work with the layout I started.\u00a0 So I cut the border apart and used each section as an embellishment.\u00a0 I added one to the shooting ball on page one.\u00a0 I added one to the photo on page 2.\u00a0 Then I created tags and added the border to each one before adhering the tags to my layout with brads.<\/p>\n The soccer transparency had some fun elements to use and they easily punched off the sheet.\u00a0 I used the large Soccer element as my title, adding brads to adhere it to the bottom of page one.\u00a0 The quote was added to cardstock for another page element and inserted behind the photo block on page 2.\u00a0 Then the date was added to the journal block.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Supplies:<\/strong><\/p>\n Bazzill Cardstock<\/a><\/p>\n Bazzill Cardstock<\/a><\/p>\n Scrappin’ Stuff Soccer Burst paper <\/a><\/p>\n CBC – Clear Sports Sheet – Soccer<\/a><\/p>\n Scrapbook 101 – Soccer Ball & Shoes Border<\/a><\/p>\n
