I always end up with a few paper scraps from every line I use. A great way to use up those scraps is to put together some simple cards. Sometimes all you need to add is a simple sentiment that you can stamp yourself. Keeping cards “flat” can save you on postage, too! You can create a simple card using scraps left over from any supply from Scrappin’ {Sports} Stuff.<\/span><\/div>\n

Instructions:<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

  1. Trim your 8-1\/2″ x 11″ kraft paper down to\u00a08″ x 5-1\/2″ and fold down to 4″ x 5-1\/2″.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Select a pattern<\/span>ed paper and\u00a0trim\u00a0pattern down to\u00a05-1\/4″x3-3\/4″ and adhere it to front of card. (I inked edges before adhering.)<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Trim 1-1\/2″x3-3\/4″ strip of a coordinating pattern, ink edges and adhere along left edge of base pattern.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Stamp sentiment on kraft paper and cut down to banner\/flag shape. Adhere overlapping both patterns as shown. (For my card,\u00a0I used clear embossing powder over ink after stamping and heat embossed\u00a0 the sentiment before adhering.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
