Hi! \u00a0It’s\u00a0<\/span>Tessa Wise<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0with another fun chalkboard inspired project to share today. \u00a0I made a fun card set using on of SRM’s <\/span>Jane’s Doodles Stamps<\/b><\/span><\/a> and decorated an\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A2 Clear Card Box<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0to match.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Here are the cards… I created them using a simple chalkboard stamping technique.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

I started by creating four different colored card bases. \u00a0I embossed two with embossing folders. \u00a0Next, I diecut some journaling cards out of the black polka-dot patterned paper. \u00a0I pulled out a white ink pad and a sponge next and swiped the edges and parts of the fronts with the ink. \u00a0I splattered each card with white mist and let them dry.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\u00a0I used the adorable\u00a0<\/span>Little Miss Mia Stamp Set<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0for this set of cards. \u00a0Aren’t they fun! \u00a0I chose one image for each card and stamped them using white pigment ink. \u00a0It really does look like a chalkboard!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The sentiments are from the\u00a0<\/span>We’ve Got Your Sticker – Hello Sticker Sheet<\/b><\/span><\/a>. I chose the white ones because they look just like chalk on top of the black paper!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Once my images were stamped, I finished building the cards. \u00a0I added a bit of patterned paper from Simple Stories I Am 6×6 pad to each one along with some fun\u00a0<\/span>Baker’s Twine<\/b><\/span><\/a>. \u00a0These were so quick and fun to make!!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The box had to be just as cute as the cards, right? \u00a0Here is a closer look.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

I painted it using the\u00a0<\/span>Easy Chalkboard Marker<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0in a swiping motion for a messy edged look. \u00a0It worked really well, even on the shiny surface of the box. \u00a0Once it was dry, I added a bit of washi tape and patterned paper. \u00a0I wrapped it with a bit of\u00a0<\/span>Buttercream Baker’s Twine<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0and finished it with a bow. \u00a0Lastly, I pulled out the fine tipped white\u00a0<\/span>Bistro Chalk Markers<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0I drew some little doodles and a note:) \u00a0I love that you can write anything over the chalkboard surface!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
