What is it with members of our Design Team and bears? Just the other day Mary-Ann was talking about her camping trip<\/a> in an area where black bears roam, and today we’re sharing this scrapbook page by mambi Design Team member Candi Billman<\/a> entitled ‘Bear Country’. We’re glad both Mary-Ann and Candi made it home safe. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

About this layout, Candi writes:<\/p>\n

“I have had this stack of 8.5 x 11 inch transparencies for the longest time and wanted to incorporate a sheet in a layout with some Big Alphabet Stickers. Underneath the transparency, I tore a 12×12 mambiSHEETS\u00a0and adhered that underneath to “peek” through. I used a mini stapler to attach the transparency to my 12×12 mambiSHEET. On the top of the layout, I did a little journalling (one line of it, to go along the top of the whole sheet) with a black marker. My photo is 5×7 with a few strips of some torn mambiSHEETS attached behind the photo.”<\/em><\/p>\n

We loved the effect the ripped layers of paper had on this layout. It worked with the off-road, travel\/map feel of being in ‘bear country’.<\/p>\n
