Hello! Courtney<\/a> here today and I am sharing an outdoor adventure card set created with The Wild Life Collection<\/a>. So that the cards would have a similar theme I used the \u2018Adventure\u2019 sentiment stamp from the Adventure Time 4×6 Stamp Set for both and featured a canoe element on each card.<\/p>\n

The background for the first card was created with two 4\u201d x 6\u201d journaling cards from the Journaling Cards<\/a> patterned paper. Cut each journaling card into three pieces, as shown above, and pull out just the middle block\/strip. Round the top right corner of the \u2018Travel Notes\u2019 block.<\/p>\n

Adhere the block and strip to the card base and zig zag stitch where they meet. Stamp the \u2018Adventure\u2019 sentiment with black stamping ink.<\/p>\n

Pull out the bunny die from the Wild Life Die Set<\/a> and the dies in the Wild Life Die Set<\/a>. Die cut all of the pieces from patterned paper and assemble. Don\u2019t forget the bunny\u2019s little tail, and add a little black eye with a pearl, rhinestone or enamel dot.<\/p>\n

Using the \u2018Fresh Air\u2019 4\u201d x 6\u201d journaling card from the Journaling Cards<\/a> patterned paper trim a strip off of the top. Stamp just the bottom of the canoe from the Happy Campers Die and Stamp Set<\/a> with orange stamping ink.<\/p>\n

On the card base stamp the canoe in orange and the sun in yellow. Then lay the strip from the previous step along the bottom of the card matching up the stamped canoe images. Stamping the entire canoe on the card base and just the bottom on the strip of patterned paper ensures that there is not a thin white strip through the canoe, along the top of the paper strip, where the stamp did not touch the card base.<\/p>\n

Cut a strip from the Wildlife<\/a> patterned paper and machine stitch along the bottom of the card. Die cut the trees from the backside of the Forest Flora<\/a> patterned paper and adhere to the card. Lastly, stamp the \u2018Adventure\u2019 sentiment along the top of the card.<\/p>\n
