{"id":18068,"date":"2016-10-10T08:17:03","date_gmt":"2016-10-10T13:17:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scrappinstuff.com\/blog\/?p=18068"},"modified":"2017-11-24T14:20:29","modified_gmt":"2017-11-24T20:20:29","slug":"home-run-collection-party-set-traci-penrod","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scrappinstuff.com\/blog\/2016\/10\/10\/home-run-collection-party-set-traci-penrod\/","title":{"rendered":"Home Run Collection: Party Set by Traci Penrod"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Hey Doodlebug friends! \u00a0It&#8217;s Traci &#8230; back to share my Home Run project with you. \u00a0Do you have a baseball fan in your family? \u00a0If so, Doodlebug&#8217;s new Home Run collection is perfect for all of your baseball themed projects. \u00a0I made this set of party decor &#8230; \u00a0great for birthdays or team parties, and really easy to create!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-vEmmE6FQbZ0\/VlTDzmWlSBI\/AAAAAAAAJkY\/PxpRpVodEYo\/s1600\/DBBaseballParty.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-vEmmE6FQbZ0\/VlTDzmWlSBI\/AAAAAAAAJkY\/PxpRpVodEYo\/s1600\/DBBaseballParty.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">First, I used my CAMEO machine to cut 5 cupcake wrappers (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.silhouettedesignstore.com\/view-shape\/22788\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link to cutting file<\/a>) out of the adorable &#8216;Play Ball&#8217; paper. \u00a0I was able to get 5 on one sheet of 12&#215;12 paper, and they stay together without adhesive &#8230; super simple!<\/span> <span style=\"font-size: large;\">Next, I used the baseball&#8217;s from the Die Cut package, \u00a0a few pennant stickers, and Doodlebug pixie sticks to create some adorable cupcake toppers. \u00a0Again, very easy! \u00a0The toughest part was making the cupcakes!<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-daktHLqIMpA\/VlTB0wdbomI\/AAAAAAAAJkA\/1a3ECt-cHMI\/s1600\/DoodlebugBaseballPartyby%2BTraci2.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-daktHLqIMpA\/VlTB0wdbomI\/AAAAAAAAJkA\/1a3ECt-cHMI\/s1600\/DoodlebugBaseballPartyby%2BTraci2.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">For the invitation, I layered pattern paper from the 6&#215;6 paper pad to the front of my card base, printed \u00a0my party details, and added the &#8220;at the ball park&#8221; sticker. This would be such a fun invitation to receive in the mail!\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-je3S09NblR4\/VlTB0-YdcsI\/AAAAAAAAJkE\/nXcRT8lCfDI\/s1600\/DoodlebugBaseballParty4.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-je3S09NblR4\/VlTB0-YdcsI\/AAAAAAAAJkE\/nXcRT8lCfDI\/s1600\/DoodlebugBaseballParty4.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">For my banner, I used my CAMEO to cut a banner designed by Lori Whitlock (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.silhouettedesignstore.com\/view-shape\/11696\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">link to cutting file<\/a>). \u00a0I shortened the banner so that 4&#215;4 cards from the collection would fit nicely on each <\/span>(the white base is 5.5&#8243; x 6&#8243;)<span style=\"font-size: large;\">. \u00a0I layered paper from the Home Run 6&#215;6 paper pad, punched a few holes, and added ribbon. \u00a0I love how fun and easy this banner was to make!<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-m5r8FbM9CPg\/VlTB0xL_IFI\/AAAAAAAAJkI\/cAoWQYtxUbc\/s1600\/DOodlebugBaseballParty3.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-m5r8FbM9CPg\/VlTB0xL_IFI\/AAAAAAAAJkI\/cAoWQYtxUbc\/s1600\/DOodlebugBaseballParty3.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Finally, I wrapped a few strips of paper from the &#8216;baseballs&#8217; paper around some water bottles and added a few stickers using foam adhesive.
