With every football season comes the homecoming celebration. Each school does the celebrating a little differently, but the outcome is always the same. Most of the time, it’s a week long celebration. Starts on Monday and ends on Friday.

Here are a few of the things that you may see during homecoming week.
- A parade through the halls of your school
- A bon fire
- Spirit week (dress in school colors all week)
- Spirit celebration (entire school meets in the gym for intro of players)
- Football game
- Dance
Creating a scrapbook for the homecoming week can be fun and exciting. For a parent or other adult wanting to create this scrapbook, it can be difficult due to the majority of the activities being help during school hours.

One way to get around this is to send a digital or disposable camera to school your child. You don’t necessarily need to tell them why, but you can if you want them to be included in the creation.
You might be surprised at the excitement that will come from your child if you allow them to help you create this special scrapbook. The pictures they come up with and the things they gather will be more than you would have ever thought of doing yourself.
Homecoming is a fun time for high school kids. They enjoy all the activities that come during this week. Creating a scrapbook will help them remember all those exciting events for years to come.

Great information! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now. Thanks!
