Crossover from Tiger to Wolf Layout

The new “Awesome” line by Simple Stories is just that – AWESOME! It works perfectly for almost any boy layout. I loved using it with some Cub Scout themed embellishments for this 2-page layout for our younger son.

  1. Start with two sheet of kraft paper for your base.
  2. Adhere three 4×6 photos stacked as shown on the inside edge of the right hand page.
  3. Cut varying width pieces of patterned paper and adhere across page as shown. I used: Simple Stories – Awesome – 100% Boy Paper (stars, brown stripe), Simple Stories – Awesome – Bingo Cards  (chevron), Simple Stories – Awesome – Boys Rock Paper  (orange),Simple Stories – Awesome – Totally Cool Paper (stripe), and Simple Stories – Awesome – Flash Cards (dots).
  4. Add 1″ strip of Simple Stories – Awesome – Stripe/Tickets Paper  (green diagonal) across layout about 2″ above bottom edge as shown.
  5. Add 1/2″ strip of Simple Stories – Awesome – Simple Basics Paper  (blue dot) below 1″ strip.
  6. Add four 3×4 photos across page as shown.
  7. Accent lower left edge of far right photo with Tiger Cub badge sticker from K & Co – Tiger Cub Grand Adhesions.
  8. Add four photo corners from K & Co – Tiger Cub Grand Adhesions in upper corners of top 4×6 photo and lower corners of bottom 4×6 photo.
  9. Add fluer de lis stickers from K & Co – Tiger Cub Grand Adhesions over dots in far right patterned paper strip.
  10. Accent lower right corner of far right 3×4 photo with paw print accent fromK & Co – Tiger Cub Grand Adhesions as show.
  11. Add title in upper section on left hand page using mix of alphas from Simple Stories – Awesome – 12″x12″ Expression Stickers and brown corrugated alphas.
  12. Journal under the photos.
