School has barely started. Now is the time to start working on that school year scrapbook. Taking pictures can be a little difficult because most of the time kids are working in the classroom.
You can take pictures when your child has a play, a field trip they take, or parties at school. Another idea is to take pictures of your child playing on the playground. You will want to ask the school for permission first.
One thing you can do is include papers that your child brings home. These can be graded papers, projects, or art pieces. If you let your child’s teacher know what you are doing, they may be able to help you with the papers that you want to add.
You can also have your children write about each day or week and you can include that in the scrapbook. For the children that can’t write yet, you can have them draw pictures that show what they had accomplished each day or week. Not only will they enjoy doing this, but you will learn a lot from them.
Continue to add to your scrapbook each day or week until the end of the year. You will enjoy watching your child change throughout the year and you will love to see the improvements and increases in knowledge that your child makes throughout the year.
This school year scrapbook will be something that you will enjoy for years to come. If you continue to make these each year, it will be fun to watch the changes that your child goes through. You will treasurer these forever.
