How To: Layer Stickers, Die-Cuts, and Papers For Extra Dimension

Hi Echo Park lovers! Thank you for joining me today on the blog! This is Courtney Lee from Court’s Crafts with a layout! Yes… you heard that right… this is my 4th layout…ever… 🙂 I love to be challenged but when I saw that I got to use My Little Girl, I knew I had the perfect pictures. I only chose one but I felt like choosing 25!

I just HAD to get “I Love To Be With My Girl” in there. I loved that phrase. I also used that circle sticker and then added some foam dimensional tape on to the back of the heart and added it to the middle. I am not usually a sticker-layer-er. But have you seen Shellye McDaniel’s work? She’s on this DT and you should definitely check out her sticker layer-ing. Totally inspiring.

I dug deep for these alphas! This is from a collection called Sweet Girl! One of the awesome things about Echo Park is that there are repeating colors through collections which makes it easy to mix and match. Try it out and check those boys lines. They always have good alphas too. 🙂

I grabbed both die cuts (the fence) and Silhouette Echo Park cuts (the horse and the horseshoe) to get the “extras” my layout.

Tip: for extra dimension that is subtle to the eye I added some foam adhesive to the back of a heart and put it on the heart patterned paper strip. It just draws the eye a little bit to the diagonal of the layout.

Thank you for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed my layout!
