Beautiful Boardwalk Layout!

Today I would like to show you a beach lay-out that I made with the gorgeous ‘Boardwalk’ collection. I went to the beach with my parents and brothers a few weeks ago and I was so happy to finally have a few photos to use with these gorgeous papers. In this blog post I will show you step by step how I made this lay-out.

Happy by Romy Veul

Step 1:

I used the sheet ‘Seaside’ as the basis for my lay-out and gently teared the edges of this sheet.
Step 2:

I then attached this sheet on top of the ‘Drift’ paper.

Step 3:
I cut out a square from the ‘Soulmate’ paper from the Juliet collection, punched alongside the edges and adhered it onto the lay-out. I stamped chickenwire patterns in the corners of this paper with the beautiful ‘Distressed Textures’ clear stamps.
Step 4:

I then took another sheet of the ‘Drift’ paper and cut out several wood panels from this sheet, which I arranged in the middle of my lay-out.

Step 5:

I then stamped distressed patterns on a few places on my lay-out with the ‘Distressed Textures’ clear stamps.

Step 6:

After that, I attached my photo in the middle of my lay-out together with an anchor die-cut from the Noteworthy package.

Step 7:

Below my photo I added a banner of several chipboard and die-cut flags. I attached a chipboard shape on top of it.

Step 8:

In the left lower corner of my lay-out I made a cluster of a die-cut lighthouse and seahorse from the Noteworthy package and a chipboard piece.

Step 9:

I then cut out a flourish with the ‘Flourish Dies’ from a cork sheet. I inked it with brown ink to make it stand out more and adhered it on top of the lighthouse.
 Step 10:

I further decorated my lay-out with several die-cuts from the Noteworthy package and a few chipboard buttons as well.
