Create a football scrapbook for your armed forces parent

With the events that are taking place in our country right now, there are a lot of people in Iraq. These people are parents to children that play sports in our towns or city’s.

If your spouse is in the armed forces and you have a child that plays football, why not create a scrapbook of the entire season so they will feel like they were right there each and every game. Here are some ideas that will help you put this together.

Games are the main part of the scrapbook. The best way to do this is to take pictures at each game and print them out before the next game. If you are going to wait until the end of the season to put this together, you will want to put these pictures in a folder or envelope. Put the date on it so you’ll know which game they were for.

Take pictures each time your child is on the field. Include pictures of timeouts and team huddles as well. Another idea is to take pictures of the fans. You might also consider making a banner with your spouses name on it and then take pictures of those holding the banner up before the game.

Create a sheet that has all the games listed on it and where the games will be held. Then create a sheet for each game. Depending on the detail you want to go on this you can list the teams, location, final score, and a list of players for that game. Use the colors of the team and fun writing as well.

Once the end of the season is here, you will be ready to put your scrapbook together. Use stickers, football paper, and anything else you can find. Be creative and have fun. Have your child help put it together so they can add their touch to it. On the back page have the team sign it.

You will have made the day of your soldier when they open the package that your scrapbook is in. They will treasurer it for years to come and you will be happy you took the time to create it for them.
