Celebrate Card

Looking for an idea for a birthday card for a gaming kid?  Here’s a great idea from Stephanie Ackerman


  • Image Stamp:  SBI – Bedtime Bandit Boy Stamp
  • Phrase Stamp: SavvyStamps.com
  • Ink:  Colorbok, Memento
  • Markers: Copic
  • Cardstock: Bazzill
  • Die Cuts: Spellbinders, Nestabilities
  • Embossing: ProvoCraft, Cuttlebug, Diamond Plate
  • Pattern Paper: my stash


  1. Use a premade card for the base
  2. Cut herringbone pattern paper to fit card
  3. Tear plain pattern paper to fit card, allowing some of the base paper to show
  4. Run the plain paper through a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder
  5. Stamp image and color with Copic Markers
  6. Die cut image
  7. Die card a coordinating backing for the image from cardstock
  8. Ink edges of image and adhere to backing
  9. Stamp sentiment on white cardstock and back it with red cardstock
  10. Assemble card, adding a strip of black cardstock as shown
