Amy made this simple 2-page LO to document her son’s 3rd grade year. In addition to his class portrait, she included his Ident-A-Kid ID, handprint/photo that was displayed at school and his complete report card for the full school year.
If you don’t have memorabilia to make this a 2-page LO, you can easily just scrap the left hand page for a single LO.
Supplies:
Adorn-It Red Lined Paper (2 sheets)
Jenni Bowlin – Mini Bingo Cards – School Days
MLYB – Say What? Clear Cuts Sticker Words – School
Thickers – Chipboard Letterman – Sapphire
Thickers – Chipboard Letterman – Crimson
Black Cardstock
Directions
- Start with two sheets of Adorn-It Red Lined Paper for your base.
- Mat class portrait on black cardstock and adhere to upper right hand corner of the left hand page.
- Cut mini bingo cards from the back packaging card of Jenni Bowlin – Mini Bingo Cards – School Days and adhere five of them down the left hand side of the page. (I used pop dots to adhere them on my LO.)
- For the title, I used a combination from MLYB – Say What? Clear Cuts Sticker Words – School, Thickers – Chipboard Letterman – Sapphire, and Thickers – Chipboard Letterman – Crimson.
- Finally, I added the handprint/photo of my son.
- For the right hand page, I matted my son’s report card and adhered it toward the center of the 2-page spread.
- In the lower right hand corner, I added my son’s Ident-A-Kid ID and accented it with the final mini bingo card from the back packaging card of Jenni Bowlin – Mini Bingo Cards – School Days.
- The ruled lines on the patterned paper are perfect for journaling.
