End of Season Party Layout

End of Season Party layout by Amy Wheeler

After I completed a mini album (see July 2010 Scrappin’ {Sports} Stuff newsletter) using the Pink Paislee “Starlight” line, I still had enough scraps left for a layout!

Supplies:

Pink Paislee Starlight line of papers

Pink Paislee – Starlight – Element Stickers

Pink Paislee – Starlight – Alphabet Stickers

mini navy alphabet

red/white baker’s twine

decorative edge border punch

Directions:
Start with sheet of patterned paper for your base. I used Pink Paislee – Starlight – Bright Paper.
Layer three (3) strips of patterned paper of varying widths and lengths in upper right hand corner of layout. Optional: Punch edges with decorative border punch.
Take three (3) strips of patterned paper of varying widths at lengths of 10-1/2″, 11″ and 11-1/2″ and layer them at an angle on the left hand side of the page. Optional: Punch two edges with decorative border punch.
Place photo(s) in lower left corner of layout. I printed 3 photos 3-up on one 4×6 to work with smaller sizes. Optional: Mat one photo and raise photo(s) up with ANM – Mini Pop Dots.
Remove bracket from Pink Paislee – Starlight – Element Stickers and adhere to right of photo(s) using ANM – Mini Pop Dots.
Add title using banner pieces from Pink Paislee – Starlight – Element Stickers, raised up with ANM – Mini Pop Dots, and “strung” together with baker’s twine.
Finish title with mini alphabet font and stickers from Pink Paislee – Starlight – Alphabet Stickers.
Journal in lower right corner.

Happy Scrappin’!
