The “Awesome” line by Simple Stories is just awesome for Scout photos! The color scheme went perfectly with my son’s Webelos uniform.
Instructions:
  1. Start with a sheet of brown cardstock for your base.
  2. Trim sheet of Simple Stories – Awesome – Simple Basics Paper down to 10-1/2 x 8-1/2 and adhere about 1″ from left edge of base.
  3. Add two 4×6 photos in upper portion of Simple Basics Paper leaving 1/4″ border along top and sides.
  4. Cut “So Cool” 4×4 square from Simple Stories – Awesome – Quotes & Photo Mats and adhere below photo on the left.
  5. Trim 6×6 journaling card section of Simple Stories – Awesome – Journaling Cards Elements #1 with three stars in circles down to 4×4 and adhere below photo on the right.
  6. Add 9-1/2″ section of star border sticker from Simple Stories – Awesome – 12″x12″ Fundamental Stickers just below photos.
  7. Add a few star/stars in circles stickers from Simple Stories – Awesome – 12″x12″ Fundamental Stickers adhered with pop dots to same shapes already on border sticker below photos.
  8. I added a word overtop the “tape” strip in the “So Cool” section using small alpha stickers from Simple Stories – Awesome – 12″x12″ Expression Stickers.
  9. Journal in section below photo on the right.
  10. Add “On My Honor” tag sticker from K & Co – Tiger Cub Grand Adhesions in upper right corner of right photo.
  11. For a finishing touch, add 1/4″ strips of Simple Stories – Awesome – 100% Boy Paper  around outside edges of layout.
