It seems that most baseball themed lines are primarily red, white and blue. There have been seasons when my boys’ baseball photos didn’t seem to fit in with that color scheme and I struggled to scrap them. I was surprised to see the pennant pattern paper in the new “Making the Grade” school line by Little Yellow Bicycle. Paired with the greens and yellows also in the line, I knew I had the perfect yellow and green uniform pics to work with it!
Instructions:
- Start with sheet of kraft cardstock for your base.
- Trim LYB – Making the Grade – Cut Here/Yellow Stripe Cardstock down to 11-1/2″ square and adhere to center of base.
- Cut LYB – Making the Grade – Pennants/Blue Solid Cardstock, pennant paper, down to 2×11-1/2″ and adhere along left edge of yellow paper.
- Where two patterns meet, add 1/2″ strip of LYB – Making the Grade – Chalkboard Doodles/Grey Test Cardstock (solid green).
- Center 8×10 team photo panel over yellow paper.
- In lower left corner, add calendar journaling strip from LYB – Making the Grade – Tear-Out Ticket and Journaling Card Book . *I accented with staples.
- Add team name under “good game” using Thickers or other alphabet.
- In upper right corner, add green star from LYB – Making the Grade – Chipboard Shapes.
