Bring the off road adventure indoors with this fun, personalized wall décor!
It all started with two sheets of patterned paper from the “Off Road” Mini Theme and the US Map svg file from the Silhouette Design Store.
The map image was set to 10” across and then a shadow of 1.5” was added. The smaller map size was cut from the back of the “Journaling Card” paper and then the larger map size was cut from the back of the “License Plate” paper. The two pieces were layered together with foam adhesive tape.
To make the sign sturdier, I traced the largest map image onto a piece of lightweight chipboard. The image was then cut out and glued to the back of the map.
Next, a cluster of journal cards were cut from the “Journaling Card” paper and attached to the center of the map with foam adhesive.
The motorcycle motif was cut from the journal card and a matching sticker was placed over the image with foam adhesive.
The edge of the blue map was sanded to give a weathered, rustic look.
I used small sticker letters from the “Jack and Jill: Boy” Collection to personalize the sign. Other stickers and enamel dots were used to complete the embellishments.
Two holes were punched at the top and a piece of rustic wire was strung through in a haphazard fashion. A denim bow was added to the side and now it’s all ready for hanging!
