Focus On: Campout Collection

1 LOGO CAMPOUTThis week, we asked our designers to focus on the new Campout collection when creating their projects. We know so many of you have already added this fun collection to your stash, and with summer in full swing, it’s the perfect time to load you up with even more ideas to incorporate this collection into your projects. I love the projects our Creative Team members came up with, and I hope you do too!

“Fresh Air”, by Lisa Dickinson.

The colorful solids on the b-sides of the Campout collection were a perfect match for some of my camping photos. They really capture the hues of nature and make those outdoor shots pop on the page! I combined several of the patterns to make a fun, bold title that fills up the bottom half of my layout. I chose color-coordinating patterns for each lines of the title, mixing two different fonts for the words. To make it whimsical, I fussy cut a few of the images from the Borders paper (the bear, trees and flowers) and tucked them in amongst the words.

Nature Hike _ Kristine Davidson

“Nature Hike”, by Kristine Davidson.

My husband and I love outdoor adventures. We sometimes try to get lost in the back roads of our province just to see where we’ll end up! On this Nature Hike we ended up in the Fundy National Park. We enjoyed the scenery and a $25 Seafood Platter that we shared at the end of the day!

“Life Is Better When You’re Laughing” card, by Julia Akinina.

I found this raccoon on the sheet of Chipboard Icons and I think he is super cute! So I created a Birthday card which will remind the future owner not to forget laughing. This card is green and it have the summer mood! The sentiment sticker sheets helped me to find the right sentiment. I created a lot of layers under the sentiment, using die cuts, stickers from Treasures & Text, enamel dots and a crochet heart. I cut out some stripes from Arrows Clear Cut transparent sheet and I love how the arrows create the dynamic on my card!
