Take a Hike Chipboard Album

Mini Albums are a good way to keep all the pictures together of one event. And they are easy to share too!

  • Cover the front of the first chipboard circle with Plaid Paper. Add a strip of Green with Brown Circle Paper to the right side. Use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look. Punch holes in the paper in line with the hole in the chipboard.
  • Add strip of Bootprints ribbon across circle.
  • Cut “Greetings from California” out of paper collection. Use decorative scissors around edges.
  • Adhere to center of the circle.
  • Adhere Hiking Trail die cut.
  • Apply boot sticker from SRM – Say It With Stickers.
  • Secure four flowers to four scraps of cardstock with brads. Adhere to circle.

  • Cover the back of the first chipboard circle and the front of the second chipboard circle with Let’s Hike paper. Use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look. Punch holes in the paper in line with the hole in the chipboard.
  • Cut two pieces of cardstock to 4 ½” x 5 ½”. Adhere to circles on an angle.
  • Trim two photos to 5” wide x 4” tall. Adhere to circles.
  • Cut a piece of cardstock to 3 ½” x ¾” and mount on a 3 ½” x 1” piece of Plaid paper.
  • Write a message on the cardstock and adhere to circle.
  • Apply Hiking sticker.

  • Cover the back of the second chipboard circle and the front of the third chipboard circle with Take a Hike paper. Use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look. Punch holes in the paper in line with the hole in the chipboard.
  • Tear around the top and sides of the word “Hike” in the Take a Hike paper. Adhere to circle and use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look.
  • Cut a piece of plaid paper to 5” x 2 ¼’. Round edges with punch. Adhere to circle.
  • Trim photo to 4” wide x 2 ¼” tall. Round edges with punch. Adhere to circle.
  • Cut a piece of Let’s Hike paper to 3” x 1”. Round edges with punch. Adhere to circle.
  • Apply boot sticker.
  • Trim photo to 4” wide x 4” tall, round the edges with punch and mount on Let’s Hike paper. Round edges with punch. Adhere to circle.

  • Cover the back of the third chipboard circle and the front of the fourth chipboard circle with Diamond Stripes paper. Use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look. Punch holes in the paper in line with the hole in the chipboard.
  • Cut two pieces of cardstock to 7 ½” x 2 ½”. Tear along long edges. Adhere to circles and use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look.
  • Cut two pieces of Plaid paper to 7 ½” x 2”. Tear along long edges. Adhere to circles and use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look.
  • Cut a piece of Diamond Stripes paper to 4 ½” x ¾”.
  • Cut five 3 ½” pieces of ribbon.
  • Fold a piece of ribbon in half and staple to the strip of Diamond Stripes paper. Repeat with the other four pieces of ribbon. Adhere strip to circle.
  • Mount the Trail Head die cut on a 3” x 3 ½” piece of Glitter Multi-Color Circle paper. Adhere to circle.
  • Trim two photos to 4” wide x 2” tall. Adhere to circle.
  • Apply Take a Hike and boot stickers.

  • Cover the back of the fourth chipboard circle and the front of the fifth chipboard circle with Green with Brown Circle paper. Use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look. Punch holes in the paper in line with the hole in the chipboard.
  • Trim two photos to 3 ½” wide x 4” tall. Round edges with punch and mount each on 4” x 6” piece of Glitter Multi-Color Circle paper. Tear top edge of one and the bottom edge of the other. Round the other edges.
  • Cut two 3 ½” pieces of Bootprints ribbon and adhere ribbon with brads.
  • Adhere mounted photos to circles.
  • Cover the back of the fifth chipboard circle with cardstock. Use sandpaper to smooth edges and give distressed look. Punch a hole in the paper in line with the hole in the chipboard.
  • Apply hiking definition sticker.
  • Punch four holes at the top of each chipboard circle. Weave a piece of ribbon through each hole and tie knots at each end. Trim excess.
  • Write messages on each tab sticker from Rock Star Stickers. Adhere to panels.
  • Put chipboard circles on metal ring and tie five pieces of ribbon around the ring.
