“Happy Camper” by Amy Wheeler
The new “Campy Trails” line by American Crafts is just perfect for my boys Scouting camp out photos. I used the line to document my younger son’s first camp out. I rarely do single photo layouts, but thought this photo of the boys ready to go to the camp out deserved a page to itself.
The “Bits” tags that come with this line are just perfect for embellishing, too.
Supplies:
- American Crafts – Campy Trails – Fox Park Forest Paper
- American Crafts – Campy Trails – Cedar River Trail Paper
- American Crafts – Campy Trails – Silver Lake Trail Paper
- American Crafts – Campy Trails – Bits Tags
- American Crafts – Campy Trails – Fabric Brads
- American Crafts – Campy Trails – Flair – Hunting
Instructions:
- Start with sheet of American Crafts – Campy Trails – Fox Park Forest Paper for base of page.
- Trim American Crafts – Campy Trails – Cedar River Trail Paper down to 11″x11″. I roughed up the edges before adhering to the center of my base.
- Mat photo on American Crafts – Campy Trails – Silver Lake Trail Paper (again, I roughed up edges on both photo and mat) and adhere to left hand center of the page.
- Adhere “Happy Camper” tag from American Crafts – Campy Trails – Bits Tags in upper right corner of layout (about 1/2″ below top of woodgrain paper).
- Add American Crafts – Campy Trails – Fabric Brads to hole in “Happy Camper” tag.
- Select 6 additional tags from American Crafts – Campy Trails – Bits Tags. Adhere 3 above and 3 below photo. I alternated the direction I placed mine.
- Select a flair embellishment from American Crafts – Campy Trails – Flair – Hunting and adhere in upper left hand corner of photo.
- Journal on tags as needed.
HAPPY SCRAPPIN’!
