I created some simple thank you cards using a great scout-themed paper pack. However, I don’t have to use them for anything Scout related. You can create a simple card using scraps left over from any supply from Scrappin’ {Sports} Stuff.
Supplies:
- K & Co – Boy Scouts Adventure Designer Paper Pad
- 8-1/2″x11″ Kraft paper (or pre-made cards)
- “thank you” stamp
- ink
- (optional) clear embossing powder
Instructions:
- Trim your 8-1/2″ x 11″ kraft paper down to 8″ x 5-1/2″ and fold down to 4″ x 5-1/2″.
- Select a patterned paper and trim pattern down to 5-1/4″x3-3/4″ and adhere it to front of card. (I inked edges before adhering.)
- Trim 1″x4″ strips of a coordinating pattern, ink edges and adhere across lower half of card.
- Stamp sentiment on kraft paper and cut down to banner/flag shape. Adhere overlapping both patterns as shown along left or right edge of card. (For my card, I used clear embossing powder over ink after stamping and heat embossed the sentiment before adhering.)
HAPPY SCRAPPIN’!
