It’s Susie on the blog today, and she’s made an awesome layout—perfect for those memories made with Dad!
Father’s Day is coming up this weekend, so I thought I would share a layout from one of those simple father-daughter moments we experienced this year: power tool time!
I started the layout with this really cool background paper. It looks like a blueprint rolled out onto a table and comes complete with scattered screws and nails and coffee cup stains!
I started by playing with photo placement, creating a simple collage by overlapping the pictures, and then added in the alpha stickers to create the title. Paper House has a wonderful set of Handyman 3D Stickers, and they were perfect accents for these pictures of my daughter learning how to use a circular saw. See the “Under Construction” sticker just above the title? I love the red twine!
I grouped more of the 3D Stickers under the pictures to create a border…
…and I could not resist using the measuring tape 3D Sticker above this close-up picture of my daughter. “Measure twice, cut once” is something my father always told me!
It is really a fast and easy layout to pull together, thanks to the detailed background paper and 3D Stickers from Paper House.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you find some time to play today!
