Camp McKee Layout

I had several photos of my son’s week-long trip to Boy Scout camp, but wanted to condense them all into one page. To do this, I made several photo collages to give me smaller images to work with. The result was a 1-page layout.

Supplies:

Bazzill Canvas Cardstock – Fawn

Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It 12″x12″ Chipboard

Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It 12″x12″ Sticker

Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Cut Outs

Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Stripe Paper (stripe, brown camo)

Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Dots Paper (brown dot, green camo)

Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Fire Light Paper (fire, yellow)

Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Happy Camper Paper (brown multi, brown woodgrain)

Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It iCandy Brads

Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad – Vintage Photo

Thickers – Foam Giggles – Brown

ANM – Mini Pop Dots

Directions:

  • Start with sheet of Bazzill Canvas Cardstock – Fawn for your base.
  • Ink edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad – Vintage Photo.
  • Tear edges of Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Stripe Paper and ink with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad – Vintage Photo to give a burnt edge effect. Adhere to center of base.
  • Cut varying sized strips of paper from  Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Dots Paper, Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Fire Light Paper, and Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Happy Camper Paper. Adhere them across center of page.
  • Add photos to top half of page.
  • In upper left hand corner, add three brads from Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It iCandy Brads.
  • Cut die cut section from Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It Cut Outs and adhere in lower right corner of layout using ANM – Mini Pop Dots.
  • Add title to die cut section using mixture of alphas from Thickers – Foam Giggles – Brown and Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It 12″x12″ Sticker.
  • Accent title with chipboard embellishment from Bo-Bunny – Roughin’ It 12″x12″ Chipboard.
  • Journal in die cut section to complete the layout.

Happy Scrappin’!
